Two elementaray schools: Laurelton Elementary which was built in 1936 and Pardee School which opened in 1954.  Pardee School serviced the children who lived in the district South of Empire Boulevard. After the baby boom bump, Laurelton-Pardee combined and renamed the old Pardee School to Helendale Road School and remains today for grades 3-5.
